Update from Betsy

Hello and welcome to my new website. A few updates for you:

• College of Marin's Activity Coordinator Training Course begins on September 16-December 11th. It is a no fee class ( the only free one in California) so sign up soon and become a qualified activity coordinator.
  

• If you are interested in becoming a certified fitness instructor for older adults, read the College of Marin catalog for PE 122. This class starts in January, 2009.
  

• Santa Rosa Junior College's Activity Coordinator Training Course will be offered in January 2009. It is HC 230 and HC 230L. 
  

Recent Survey Trends in Activities:

1. Keep good documentation on bedside program log. Show resident response to each visit.
   
2. Document what services and supplies you are providing for those residents who are younger and or short term stay residents. 
3. Title 22 surveys are looking at outings, how often, variety, type of transportation and some times asking for signed contracts with transportation service.
